Marty started his journey into photography around the age of 12 with a very basic point and shoot camera and has been improving his skills and craft ever since. Over the past 45 + years, he has photographed everything from fire and accident scenes, construction job sites, portraiture, the usual nature, wildlife and scenics as well as some aerial photography and now he is a FAA Part 107 Certified Drone Pilot. Most notable has been his work in Professional Rodeo beginning in 1992; Marty earned his PRCA Membership Card in 1996. As a Gold Card Member of the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association), he has traveled the midwest capturing rodeos and rodeo life as well as many other equine events including Barrel Races, Cowboy Mounted Shooting and other Cow Horse Events. Stepping back from rodeos at the end of 2019, he is now concentrating more of his time and work volunteering with PSA (Photographic Society of America) where he is the Wisconsin State Membership Director and Nationally, a PSA Website Mentor as well as the official PSA Photo Festival Photographer. Marty also stays involved locally in camera clubs in Central Wisconsin when he isn't out photographing. View some of his work.
